Flinders University Open Days 2015 will be held on Friday 14 August & Saturday 15 August 2015 from 9:30am to 4pm at our Bedford Park campus.

Tours depart from the tours tent outside the Open Day HQ unless otherwise stated. Please be at the departure point at least 15 minutes prior to the tour commencing.
Explore the campus with a current student and discover why students choose Flinders as their educational destination. Offered from 11:00am and run every hour until 3:00pm.
FlindersOne Sport & Fitness has it all. You will be surprised and excited by the welcoming and modern three-level fitness centre and all it offers. Tours start at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm daily from the Flinders ONEsport and fitness stand.
Experience first-hand the community atmosphere and award-winning living that our country, interstate and international students enjoy. Offered from 11:00am and run every half hour until 3:30pm.
Register to go on a tour of our new Tonsley campus, where our engineering, computer science and mathematics courses are based. Visit our new state-of-the-art laboratories and teaching spaces with one of our current students or staff. Tours start from Bedford Park campus at 10:00am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm daily. Registrations are essential.

Watch chemistry and physics combine in a fascinating show about states of matter, where you will be shown some of the more exciting aspects of atoms and molecules using liquid nitrogen. Learn how blood splatter patterns can help a forensic scientist find out what happened at a crime scene. Enter the wonderful world of nanotechnology, where making changes on tiny scales (one billionth of a metre!) can have huge impacts in the areas of energy, medicine, the environment and more.
Live cooking demonstration run by Sprout Kitchen. See celebrity cook and author Callum Hann and his colleagues heat up the kitchen, cooking two tasty, healthy dishes while providing education and training – a feast for the senses. Need a break after all that? Enjoy a snack or lunch from some of the best food trucks in Adelaide thanks to the pop-up Flinders Laneway.
Find out first-hand how you could make a real difference in people's lives by becoming a midwife or nurse. Talk to the professionals and take part in a hands-on experience featuring interactive displays and presentations by lecturers, staff and graduates. Then tour the School of Nursing & Midwifery’s clinical skills laboratories and high-fidelity simulation facilities. Registration desk open at 9.30, see information sessions timetable for times.
The Humanities Courtyard is the home of creativity. Whether it be watching short films produced by our screen and media students in the inflatable Dome Theatre, playing pétanque on the lawns, watching the Indonesian band perform, or entering the event control room, there is something for everyone. Find us next to the Flinders Laneway and in close proximity to Matthew Flinders Theatre – the staff and students are looking forward to meeting you.
Warm up over a coffee and enjoy the hospitality of the Flinders Business School in the Business Lounge, located just outside the Library. Current students and staff will be able to answer any queries in a relaxed atmosphere.
Join Flinders’ students and experience all the drama and suspense of a real-life courtroom during a trial re-enactment – you be the judge. (12.15pm Fri and 11.30am Sat)

Our main campus in Bedford Park is moments from the Southern Expressway and just 25 minutes by car from the Adelaide CBD.
There’s plenty of parking, and it’s free for Open Days.
Buses run frequently to and from the University, linking us with the adjacent Flinders Medical Centre, nearby Westfield Marion and the city.
