Research interests

I am working on a project called 'Growing up too quickly? Body objectification in adolescent and pre-adolescent girls (teens and tweens)'.

Within this, I am currently investigating the role of the Internet on how adolescent girls feel about themselves and their bodies, examining the advertising content on popular websites aimed at teenagers as well as the premature sexualisation of girls.

This post-doctoral research fellowship is supervised by Professor Marika Tiggemann and funded by the Australian Research Council.
