Learning and Teaching Innovation
Cassandra completed both her undergraduate and post-graduate degrees at Flinders University. She has worked across a variety of inpatient, community health and private practice settings including Flinders Medical Centre, Southern Adelaide Health and Adelaide Nutrition Care (her own medical nutrition therapy consultancy). An author and lecturer she has lectured within the Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor's degrees in Education, Health Sciences and at TAFE and other higher education institutions. She is involved in adult education and training in an ongoing capacity across her work and has presented at a variety of conferences in areas including HIV nutrition through to body image, chronic disease prevention and peer review of teaching.
Cassandra joined the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching as a Lecturer in Higher Education after nearly 7 years with the Flinders Human Behaviour and Health Research Unit (School of Medicine) as a senior Research Officer and Lecturer. She currently works as an Academic Developer within the Learning and Teaching Innovation (Deputy Vice-Chancellor - Students) portfolio.
