Cindy is a clinical psychologist and academic. Her research is broadly in the area of clinical health psychology with a focus on the interaction of personality and mental and physical health. Her research has explored the influence of personality, justice beliefs, and mental health on rehabiliation from compensable work injury. She has been part of the Flinders Medical Center Pain Management Unit, where her clinical and research interests have intersected. More recently Cindy has been working on projects to extend understanding of the psychological factors involved in facilitating optimal patient outcomes post, diagnosis, injury, or surgery, in the area of chronic pain.
