Since August 2001, he has been Alumni Relations Officer at Flinders University, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with the University's domestic and international graduates.
He is one of Australia's most experienced advancement professionals with an extensive background in alumni relations in Australian higher education, and with a particular focus on Southeast Asia.
From 1985 to 2000, he was Alumni Relations Director at The University of Adelaide.
In 2001, and on behalf the Australia Malaysia Foundation, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Department of Education, Science and Training, he compiled and edited The Colombo Plan for Cooperative Economic Development in South and Southeast Asia 1951-2001: The Malaysian Australian Perspective.
