Key responsibilities

Dr Ingrid Flight is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Flinders University (SA) Centre for Innovation in Cancer (FCIC). Her expertise in general terms covers the identification, development and testing of behaviourally-based approaches aimed at increasing the uptake of preventive health behaviours, with a focus on screening for cancer. Her research interests also lie in the broad area of cancer survivorship. Over both these areas, she has a strong commitment to consumer participation and addressing individual and system barriers that may act against informed health decision-making, including quality of life, health literacy, patient activation and information seeking styles.
