Yunggorendi, First Nations Centre for Higher Education and Research

Biography

Jackie has worked in a variety of cultural and educational settings that share a common thread of engaging and educating groups and individuals in urban and remote communities. This included nine years in Sydney and 13 years in the Northern Territory working with Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, 24HR Art - NT Centre for Contemporary Art and the NT Government as well as Charles Darwin University, coordinating the Garma 2006 Key Forum on Indigenous Education and Training.
 
In Jackie joined Yunggorendi as Executive Officer in 2011 and is currently working as a Project Officer.
In 2008 Jackie helped establish Crossing the Ridges, a community of practice for professional staff at Flinders, that ran successfully until 2011 when the concept was integrated into the Professional Development Unit program.

Bachelor of Arts, University of Adelaide
Graduate Certificate in Management, Curtin University
