Biography
Kate Deller-Evans is the Science and Engineering Faculty Scholar for 2011 - 2012. Her research is in Professional Skills. She is a lecturer in the School of Computer Science, Engineering & Mathematics where she teaches ethics, research, professional, and communication skills, and she provides research, grant and award writing assistance for staff and postgraduate students. Co-author of the transition-to-university text, Essential Skills in Science and Technology, OUP (2nd edn. 2011), she is also published with Dr Steve Evans as the co-author of Best of Friends: The first thirty years of Friendly Street Poets, Wakefield Press, (2008). Kate also reviews for the Adelaide Independent Weekly, InDaily online news service, Fringereview.com and ReadPlus.
