I teach a number of topics taught on the MPH, the Master of Health and International Development, the DrPH and the Graduate Entry Medical Program (GEMP).
My research interests are around socio-spatial inequalities and inequities in health, medicine usage and the provision of health and social care. I also have a particular interest in research around lay and professional perceptions, knowledge and understandings of health, healthcare, medicines and risk, and how these perceptions vary spatially and by socio-cultural group. In addition, given my experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, I have an interest in research which seeks to utilise the benefits of a pluralistic and multi-disciplinary approach.
