Toby is the Deputy Director of the Southgate Institute for Health, Society and Equity. He is a chief investigator on two primary health care NHMRC project grants, a senior research fellow on the Centre for Research Excellence on Social Determinants of Health Equity. He co-leads the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research stream at the Southgate Institute with Dr. Tamara Mackean. His research interests are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, primary health care, and health inequities.
