Key responsibilities

I am involved in developing and implementing events, activities and materials which increase the profile of the Schools of Biological Sciences and the Environment as a provider of high quality, relevant science programs in order to increase enrolments in the courses and programs offered.

All enquiries regarding courses, research, events and other promotional matters are welcome.

Professional and community engagement

I engage with prospective students and public audiences to promote the courses and research within the Schools of Biological Sciences and the Environment. This includes working with:

school classes, especially in southern Adelaide
teacher groups eg SASTA
science organisations eg SA Museum, CSIRO Double Helix, Australian Science Communicators, National Youth Science Forum

Some of the community events we run or participate in are:

Flinders University Open Days
National Science Week (including Science Alive)
public career expos
