
All courses in the University will be developed in accordance with the Policy on Course and Topic Development Approval and Management and submitted on the new course approval form or the significant change of course form as appropriate.
In addition, a proposal to offer a course overseas must comply with the provisions of the Policy on the Development of Offshore Programs. This includes completion of the Offshore Programs Approval Form (RTF 53KB) , in addition of the course approval form. In all such cases, staff are encouraged to consult early on in the development of the proposal with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International).
Proposals for new courses or changes to courses are normally developed by academic staff within AOUs. A proposal will be considered within the relevant Faculty and it will then be considered by the University.
