Introduction

This web-based manual contains official University policies approved by Council, Academic Senate, Resources Committee or the Vice-Chancellor, as well as general procedures and guidelines. Faculty policies, guidelines or procedures are not included, nor are those which apply only to staff within a certain organisational unit.

There is a policy on the development and approval of policies and procedures as well as formal procedures for gazetting and publishing documents.

The structure of this manual has been changed as part of the University's web redevelopment. The search function at the top of this page can assist in finding policies.
