Performance Management

Performance review and development at Flinders is the basis for assessment and development of a staff member’s performance to assist in the achievement of individual, work area and/or organisational goals.

Key elements of the performance management frameworks for academic and general staff include:

  • Review of/ feedback about performance
  • Assessment of performance for key decisions in relation to award of an increment, confirmation of probationary appointment, movement to a higher classification in a linked position (general staff) and recognition for higher level performance
  • Determination of work priorities, workload allocation and performance expectations
  • Identification of training and development needs/opportunities

This web page brings together the relevant policies, procedures, forms and templates in relation to the above.
