    PROCEDURES FOR DETERMINING PIPING COLOUR

Following Council approval of the introduction of a new course, the Graduation Officer will review the available piping colours and, after consultation with the appropriate Faculty General Manager, make a recommendation to the Executive Director of Administration and Registrar who will approve the colours under delegated authority from Council.

In determining the colour, account will be taken of the colours already in use by the faculty. As a general principle, the practice of using generic colours will be maintained eg the Applied Science degrees use yellow; the Arts degrees use gold; and the Education degrees use tangerine.
