Excellence in Research for Australia

The Research Quality Framework (RQF) process established by the former Government has been replaced with a new initiative. The Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) initiative was announced on 29 February, 2008 by Minister for Industry, Innovation, Science and Research Senator the Hon Kim Carr.

As it was for the RQF, Flinders University's response to the ERA will be led and managed by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Chris Marlin. The Project Team established in the Office of Research remains in place, and will establish an ERA program once clear directions as to tasks and timelines have been issued by the Minister. The Team members are:

• Executive Officer - TBA
• Administrative Assistant - Ms Kristy Manuel
• Data Officer - Mr Corey Wallis
