All external grant applications submitted by Flinders University staff must be submitted through the Research Services Office.
All non-ARC and NHMRC grant applications should be emailed to research.grants@flinders.edu.au and Maya Roberts (maya.roberts@flinders.edu.au) 10 working days prior to the external submission date for compliance checking and review. All external grant applications must be accompanied by a Flinders University Certification form:

Internal deadlines for ARC and NHMRC grant applications are set earlier because of the number of applications involved and the service the Office provides in compliance checking and reviewing those applications.
Required documents
Prior to submission to the Research Services Office, please check you have completed/attached the following:
1. Application including any supporting documentation
2. Flinders University Certification Form

This is a resource to help you prepare your project budget and incorporates the University infrastructure levy where applicable.

To ensure full functionality of the Budget Tool please do the following each time you use the Budget Tool for a new Project, as this will ensure that you have a “clean” spreadsheet for each use:
Download the Budget Tool from the RSO website link above.
Save it to your computer, with a file name that relates to your Project.
Close Excel.
Restart Excel and open the named Project file before commencing data entry.As there will be regular updates to the Budget Tool, we strongly recommend researchers re-download the budget tool from the website at the beginning of each new project.
