Flinders University expects that all new staff, honours and postgraduate students working with animals for research or teaching purposes, and current staff/students who have not attended previously, to attend the Animal Welfare Day before commencing any such work.

Funding Schemes included on the Australian Competitive Grants Register (Category 1 Granting bodies) - applications to these granting bodies do not attract the University 15% infrastructure levy.
Co-investment application form (DOC 83KB) - this form is for anyone who is hoping to obtain funds from the University Research Budget (URB) to support a new research initiative, or as a required cash contribution in support of a research funding proposal. The form requires Faculty endorsement, and confirmation of Faculty funding (which may come from more than one Faculty) which at least equals the amount being sought from central fund
