Flinders is keen to promote crowdfunded research projects. As crowd funding has become a viable option for generating support for research projects, Flinders is keen to ensure our researchers can tap into this resource.

Crowdfunding allows researchers the chance to showcase their unique research ideas directly to the community.

It also allows the community the opportunity to support, get involved with, or even participate in a Flinders project.

Flinders crowdfunding projects will be hosted via the online platform pozible.com.

Expressions of Interest for Crowd funding research projects are submitted to and assessed by Research Development and Support.

Pozible provides support to assist researchers in developing their own crowdfunding webpage.

As with all research projects, appropriate ethics approvals must be obtained.

Any enquiries regarding the scheme are to be sent to research.grants@flinders.edu.au. Applications can be received on an ongoing basis with approval for the crowd funding project to be provided by a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) led panel. If approved a Certification form will be required.
