Applicants MUST obtain an application ID from their German colleague/s. This will be issued by the DAAD when the German application is submitted.

Flinders University will support one exchange under this scheme. All Flinders applications must be made on the required form and comply with the guidelines for Australian applicants.  Applications close on 16 June 2017 and must be emailed to the Flinders University contact officer (Mary Lyons – research.grants@flinders.edu.au).  A DVC(R) led panel will rank all Flinders applications. That ranking will then be submitted to Universities Australia and used as a basis for discussions with DAAD (who will conduct their own selection process of corresponding German applicants).

10 Working Day Application Review Deadline

Research Development and Support (RDS) deals with a high volume of grant applications on a year round basis. In order to ensure adequate time for applications to be compliance reviewed prior to submission a 10 working day deadline in advance of external funder lodgement date is in place for grant applications to be received in RDS for review. (Please note that longer internal deadlines apply for applications to ARC and NHMRC). A full complete draft of your application should be submitted for review. While RDS will always endeavour to review all applications received prior to submission to funding bodies, applications received later than the 10 working day deadline will not be guaranteed a compliance review prior to submission.
