Scholarships

Flinders University offers postgraduate research scholarships to enable suitably qualified students to undertake full-time study towards a research higher degree. Selection is based on academic merit and research potential. These scholarships are tenable for up to three years for a doctorate by research or up to two years for a masters by research.

Flinders University provides funding, which is available on a competitive basis, to research higher degree students for conference travel, overseas field trips and an overseas travelling fellowship.

The University's Higher Degree Administration and Scholarships Office maintains a database of scholarship schemes, produces a monthly newsletter for postgraduate students and provides email updates to subscribers. For further information, visit the Scholarships @ Flinders web site.

Information on scholarships offered for postgraduate study by a broad range of institutions and organisations can also be found on the JASON website and the DEST website.
