About the Faculty

The Faculty of and Behavioural Social Sciences at Flinders University is at the forefront of teaching, research, scholarship and professional activity in the social sciences. Some of Australia’s most prominent researchers, educators, scholarly writers, consultants and media commentators serve as academic staff members in the Faculty, along with a dedicated and professional team of technical and administrative staff. The Faculty’s two hundred plus staff serve more than 3,000 students.

The Faculty will continue to encourage excellence. It extends its welcome to students, and to academic, professional, business, government and community visitors, from Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and the rest of the world.
