Background

Joined the School from full-time study and working in business. Prior to this she worked as a teacher. Carol was awarded her PhD in 1999, which was conducted on corporate environmental policies. She has over 20 refereed articles and conference papers, and numerous other papers in the area of corporate social and environmental reporting. She is on the editorial board of three journals, and a member of Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) and the Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Accountability (APCEA). She is an International Associate, and a member of the Executive Council of the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR), based in Scotland, which is the premier international research centre in the field of social and environmental accounting.
