Welcome to the
Flinders Institute for Housing, Urban and Regional Environments

The Flinders Institute for Housing, Urban and Regional Environments (FIHURE) exists to promote theoretically significant, policy relevant and practice informed research on housing, cities and regions.

The Institute serves as a focal point within Flinders for research in these areas and encourages academics from a wide range of disciplines to participate in scholarship in these fields.

FIHURE also incorporates the Flinders arm of the Southern Research Centre (SRC) of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI).

The SRC is a research centre comprising active housing researchers from both Flinders University and the University of Tasmania.
