The Australian Bulletin of Labour (ABL) exists to promote investigation and understanding of all matters relevant to the contemporary labour market and employment relations. It provides an outlet for new ideas about the factors that shape the experiences of, and the distribution of rewards from, work.

Contributors to the journal are from all fields advancing these aims, including economics, management, sociology and labour law, with an emphasis on applied research and policy evaluation that is accessible to interested non-technical readers.

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format to: keith.hancock@flinders.edu.au

2.    Invited Articles are non-refereed papers published at the discretion of the Editors because of their general interest.
3.    Invited Notes are shorter versions of Invited Articles running to no more than 3000 words.
4.    Information pieces are published from time to time on issues of general significance in the Australian labour market and employment relations. These papers are not refereed and are usually of similar length to an Invited Note.

The Australian Bulletin of Labour (ISSN 0311-6336) is published by the National Institute of Labour Studies (NILS).
