What does the Flinders University Psychology Clinic offer and how much does it cost?
The Flinders University Psychology Clinic accepts referrals in the following areas:
psycho-educational assessments of children and adolescents (testing of intelligence and academic achievement)
This service costs $400.00 per assessment for children. The cost of the assessment includes a brief initial interview, assessment sessions, questionnaire/s sent to kindergarten/school staff, a feedback session and a report.
- assessment and treatment of anxiety and stress problems in children and adolescents
- assessment and treatment of behaviour problems in children
- assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders in adults
Therapy is available to new customers with the initial consult being $35.00 and subsequent sessions $20.00, payable via debit/credit card.
Who provides the services?
Services are provided by postgraduate clinical psychology trainees (5th and 6th year of training) and supervised by our senior psychologist Levina Clark. The Clinic Coordinator is Professor Reg Nixon.
Levina Clark is a clinical psychologist who has considerable experience in child and adolescent mental health in the public sector. She is also experienced in psycho-educational assessment.
