What does the Flinders University Psychology Clinic offer and how much does it cost?

The Flinders University Psychology Clinic accepts referrals in five areas: 

This service costs $320 per assessment for children. The cost of the assessment includes a brief initial

interview, testing sessions, questionnaire/s sent to kindergarten/school staff, a feedback session and a report.

Except for sleep problems, fees for the above services are set at $30 for an initial intake interview (90 minutes duration) and $20 per subsequent session (60 minutes duration). Student discount rates are available for Flinders University students.

Who provides the services?

Services are provided by postgraduate clinical psychology trainees (5th and 6th year of training) and supervised by our senior psychologist Louise Vines. The Clinic Coordinator is Prof Tracey Wade.

Louise Vines has more than 20 years experience working as an educator and later as an educational and developmental psychologist in the public sector. Her speciality is working with children and adolescents with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, their families and associated school communities. She is highly experienced in psycho-educational assessment and goal orientated intervention and has a particular interest in working with young people with anxiety difficulties.
