What does the Flinders University Psychology Clinic offer and how much does it cost?
- assessment and treatment of anxiety and stress problems in children and adolescents
- assessment and treatment of behaviour problems in children
- assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders in adults
- psycho-educational assessments of children and adolescents (testing of intelligence and academic achievement)
Therapy is at a cost of $35.00 for the initial consultation (90 minutes) and $20.00 for subsequent sessions (60 minutes).
Psycho-educational assessments cost $400.00 per assessment. The cost of the assessment includes an initial interview, assessment sessions, liaison with kindergarten/school as appropriate, a feedback session and a report.
All fees are payable via debit/credit card. Cash payment is not available.
Clients are able to self-refer to the clinic.
Who provides the services?
Services are provided by postgraduate clinical psychology trainees (5th and 6th year of training) and supervised by our senior psychologist Dr Levina Clark. The Clinic Coordinator is Professor Reg Nixon.
Dr Levina Clark is a clinical psychologist who has considerable experience in child and adolescent mental health. She is also experienced in psycho-educational assessment.
