Honours In Social Work


The Honours Program in Social Work is embedded in the 4th year of the degree and provides students with the opportunity to develop their research skills and undertake focused study of key issue/s in social work.

Honours students will complete a thesis which will be assessed on the extent to which the student has demonstrated the ability to gather and evaluate information, construct and defend an argument, and critically examine the dominant theories in their area of enquiry.

Students must have achieved a minimum GPA of 5.7 in order to be considered for entry into the Social Work honours program.
