Flinders University :Privately funded scholarships

Privately funded scholarships are established by academic staff from their own consulting funds or from government and non-government awarded grants and enable a nominated student to carry out a program of study leading to a research higher degree.

Applicants must: be enrolling as full-time students in a Masters by research,  or Doctorate by research at Flinders University; and hold an Honours degree at the level of Second Class (upper division) or above, or an equivalent qualification.

The minimum stipend for a privately-funded scholarship will not be less than the current FURS rate. The maximum stipend for a privately funded scholarship or stipend top-up shall not exceed the NHMRC (Medical) rate unless it can be demonstrated that market forces are in operation.
