Opening Date: 22-12-2017
Closing Date: 02-03-2018
The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage high achieving female students to pursue study in engineering.
Source of funds
This scholarship was established from the estate of Mrs Isobel Mannam (nee Heap) and her husband Dr John Mannam, a mechanical engineer. Dr Mannam was born in the Balkans during the First World War and migrated to Australia in the 1950s. In the 1980s Dr and Mrs Mannam donated the Heap Mannam Collection to the University. The items in the collection were later sold and the proceeds used to establish the Heap Mannam High Achiever Scholarship for Women in Engineering.
