A donation from Resthaven Inc has enabled the establishment of the Resthaven Master of Nursing Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage study related to aged care. The Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Foundation offers one or more scholarships each year for full‐time post‐graduate research in one of the allied health sciences. Each award is tenable for up to two years at an Australian tertiary institution with facilities for postgraduate research. Graduates in evidence‐based disciplines such as clinical psychology, nutrition, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech pathology, are encouraged to apply. Applications from graduates of other allied health disciplines pursuing a PhD in that field will also be considered. The scholarship provides emoluments to contribute substantially toward the cost of living, books and charges.

The Elite Editing Thesis Write-up Scholarship provides financial assistance for one postgraduate student per year for a period of 12 weeks to free them from other forms of employment and allow them to concentrate solely on the task of writing their thesis.
The purpose of the Thesis Write-Up Stipend is to assist non-scholarship holder research higher degree students to write-up and submit their theses. The thesis write-up stipend will normally pay the equivalent of a Flinders University Research Scholarship for: six months full-time in the case of PhD and MD students; or three months full-time in the case of Masters students. Selection of award holders will be undertaken by the Scholarships Committee on the basis of the following criteria: maturity of the applicant's research (degree to which the thesis is prepared in draft, publications, conference papers presented, etc); the supervisor's appraisal of the quality of the thesis draft; and availability of other sources of support. The Wentworth Group Scholarships are to enable recipients to become active contributors at the interface of good decision making and world class science. The main aim of the scholarships is to give recipients access to the knowledge and networks of some of Australia’s leading practitioners in influencing public policy through their experience in the natural sciences, economics and public policy. It is not the intention of these scholarships to provide direct support for thesis research, nor can a scholarship be used as a stipend.
