| South Australian Science Teachers Association Annual Conference | 12-13 April | South Australian science teachers | Flinders sponsors this key event for South Australian science teachers. Two cutting edge Flinders presenters will address the conference. |
| National Youth Science Forum | 12 April | National Youth Science Forum members | An opportunity for National Youth Science Forum members to visit the Flinders campus, and to participate in hands-on Science & Engineering workshops. |

| Science & Engineering Challenge | 18 & 19 June | High School Students | A fun hands on school science competition held each year at various locations around Australia. Flinders will host schools on campus for 2 days of the challenge. |
| Inspiring Women in Engineering and IT | 20 June | Year 10, 11 & 12 Female High School Students | A day of activities to inspire young women to pursue a career in the disciplines of engineering, information technology and mathematics |
| Careers in Science | 22 & 25 June | Year 10,11 &12 High School Students | CSIRO and Flinders full-day experience. Participate in hands-on workshops and hear from inspiring young scientists about their career paths |
| Chemical Murder Mystery | 21, 26, 27 June | Year 10 Students | A popular full day of forensic science activities. Collect samples from a 'crime scene' and participate in hands-on laboratory sessions. |

| The Science Experience | 3,4,5 December | Yr 9 & 10 students | Each year universities all around Australia offer a 3 day, fun-filled science experience for high school students going on to Year 10. The Flinders event includes hands-on activities in biology, robotics, nanotechnology, physics and chemistry. |
