Science and Engineering Challenge 24 - 25 July High School students

The Science and Engineering Challenge is a nationwide outreach program designed to inspire students to study science and engineering at a senior level.

Flinders will host schools on campus for 2 days of the challenge.

8,9,10 Aug Friday high school students. Saturday and Sunday open to the general public Come and visit the Flinders stand at Australia's largest science expo event with spectacular science, animal and magic shows and a huge range of hands-on fun for all ages.
Flinders University Open Days 15 & 16 August All welcome For two days our campus life is on display.  Staff and students are available to discuss courses, careers and student support.  Science and Engineering tours and presentations will be available.

Gifted and Talented Children's Association of South Australia (GTCASA) 1 - 3 October Year 8, 9 and 10 students

The Youth Workshops are an annual workshop for gifted students in years 8, 9 and 10. They run over three days and include a variety of topics to choose from.
All South Australian secondary schools are invited to nominate students for these courses.

South Australian Science Teachers Conference (SASTA) Maths and Science Middle School Conference 28 November Middlle School Maths and Science Teachers

This popular annual conference which includes a keynote presentation and numerous elective concurrent workshops.

The Science Experience 2 -4 December Year 9 & 10 students Each year universities all around Australia offer a 3 day, fun-filled science experience for high school students going onto year 10.  The Flinders event includes hands-on activities in biology, robotics, nanotechnology, physics and chemistry
