- Biological Sciences
- Medical Biotechnology
- Chemistry
- Clinical Pharmacology
- Intelligent Systems Engineering
- Physics
Combining fundamental knowledge generation with applied (i.e. industry focused) research, the Molecular Technologies Research Cluster unites extensive and diverse capabilities across many research disciplines within Flinders University, taking a comprehensive approach to problem solving in order to provide the best sustainable solution.
The Molecular Technologies Research Cluster also contains a number of externally recognised larger research groupings, including:
- Flinders Centre for Marine Bioprocessing and Bioproducts
- Biofuels and Renewable Energy Group
- Forensic Science Centre
These groups contain researchers mainly from the Molecular Technologies Research Cluster, but also have researchers from and/or close collaborations with DSTO, SARDI, CSIRO and the Australian Federal Police.
