We are running a regular series of events throughout 2017. See below for more details on what will be happening each month.

What does it mean to be a Centre member?

Centre Director, Professor David Lewis, will discuss the benefits of being a Centre member, as well as the Centre's future direction.

A free BBQ lunch will be provided afterwards.

 The Office of Graduate Research

Meet Professor Tara Brabazon, Dean of Graduate Research, and learn more about the Office of Graduate Research and how it can help you during your PhD.


Thursday October 5, 10am

TED Speaker - Oded Shoseyov

A renowned speaker and expert in the field of nanobiotechnology, Professor Shoseyov will be speaking about his research and his commercialisation journey over morning tea (which will be provided).


Wednesday October 18, 10.30am

 Professor Veena Sahajwalla - Self-promotion in science

While already well-known and highly respected in her field, Veena became one of Australia’s best-known scientists and inventors through her regular appearances as a judge on the long-running ABC TV series The New Inventors. She continues her community engagement through regular school visits and public talks, her mentoring program for girls in science (Science 50:50) and regular media commentary. 


ThinkWell (workshop TBC)

ThinkWell uses the latest psychological and educational research to assist high acheivers to achieve maximum productivity
