The team at the Southern Knowledge Transfer Partnership Office (SKTP) is dedicated to developing and enhancing sustainable two-way partnerships between Flinders University and the wider southern Adelaide community.
SKTP was jointly funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and Flinders University until 30 June 2012. It is now funded by the university.
What we do
we support Flinders staff and students to increase their engagement with regional business, community, education and government organisations in a partnership approach designed to deliver improved skills, knowledge and innovation
we work to raise awareness among regional stakeholders about Flinders' commitment to collaborations within the region
we are a portal to the University, linking local government, community organisations and businesses in southern Adelaide with the University's teaching and research capabilities
we collaborate with schools, TAFE and other registered training organisations in the region to raise aspirations about higher education pathways
