The Disability and Community Inclusion Unit maintains an active PhD program.
To be considered for a PhD you must hold an Honours degree in Disability Studies or another relevant area.
If you do not hold an Honours Degree, or have not gained a high enough grade in your Honours year, additional requirements may apply before entry in the program is approved.
The PhD in Disability Studies involves completing a thesis based on original research.
You must complete the thesis within four and a half years full time and nine years part time.
You will be assigned two supervisors whom you will need to meet with regularly to show evidence of your progress.
