About Palliative Care at Flinders

Palliative and Supportive Services creates strong links and networks between clinical practice, education and research. We are co-located with Southern Adelaide Palliative Services (incorporating Daw House Hospice) and work collaboratively to improve palliative care service delivery.

Professional demand for Palliative and Supportive Services is growing. We are committed to providing programmes that are multidisciplinary, evidence based, clinically relevant and flexible.

Our award-winning postgraduate degrees in Palliative Care and Palliative Care in Aged Care deliver education and research through accessible modes of study, including online (external) delivery, internal classes and intensive workshops based overseas.

Internationally recognised, our research focuses on four key areas:

  • Clinical studies
  • Translational and evidence resources
  • Service Provision
  • Population-based studies

Through research, teaching and clinical practice we make significant contributions to improving palliative care service delivery within Australia and around the world.
