The Honours Program in Speech Pathology is identical to the Honours Program of the School of Medicine. Eligible year 3 and year 4 students enrol in the Honours Program part time over 2 years. Students with a bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or related areas (eg. Linguistics, Cognitive Science,) are able to do Honours in one year.
To be eligible for the Honours Program students in Speech Pathology should have a high credit-distinction or above average in all Topics undertaken in Year 2I. Students who have not achieved this average for reasons beyond their control may also apply for acceptance into the Honours program, and their circumstances and academic performance will be taken in to consideration by the Honours committee.
Contact Professor Andrew Butcher for further information about Honours in the Department of Speech Pathology.
