Postgraduate Research Supervision Elective: Supervising International Students
Course description
This workshop will explore issues related to supervising international students. The diversity of student and supervisor backgrounds means that fewer assumptions can be made about how the relationship will function. Many of the issues explored in this workshop are also relevant to domestic students. You may choose from two formats for this workshop: self-directed online OR face-to-face. Both are 3 hrs. in duration.
Face-to-face
If you would prefer to attend a face-to-face workshop on this topic, you can add your name to the waiting list in the box on the right and one will be arranged when there is sufficient interest.
This is an elective workshop and is part of the Postgraduate Research Supervisors program. Participants must choose 2 electives along with the two core workshops to complete the course.
