Academic and personal support
Research higher degree students have access to all student
services at Flinders, including health and counselling, accommodation assistance, a Student Learning Centre and a Careers and Employer Liaison Centre.
There is also specialised

Professional Development Program
A Professional
Development Program for research higher degree students
is run jointly by the Staff
Development and Training Unit and the Student
Learning Centre. It includes sessions on research skills
and management, academic writing, publications and structuring
a thesis, presentations and generic computer skills. Both centres also have a variety of other
resources.
Information technology
All students are given electronic mail facilities, and research
students have remote login facilities to the University's
research computers. Access to the Internet and World Wide
Web, word processing, database and spreadsheet software is
available on Macintosh or Windows personal computers housed
in the various student computer laboratories on campus, including
the library.
