Centre for University Teaching

The Centre for University Teaching (CUT) is managed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) - Professor Andrew Parkin.

The unit operates within the context of the University's strategic agenda for organisational development.
Specifically the Unit:

• Contributes to the implementation of strategic organisational change
• Provides learning opportunities for staff seeking to help the organisation change and continuously improve, enhance their skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to perform their roles at Flinders University and also to progress their own career and professional development
• Establishes special interest groups and forums for sharing expertise and fostering collaboration
• Initiates activities and programs designed to enhance the quality of working life in the University.

The unit provides leadership and support for a wide range of programs including induction and orientation, professional and career development, mandatory employment requirements.
