Centre for University Teaching

The Centre for University Teaching (CUT) is managed by Associate Professor Heather Smigiel and reports to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Andrew Parkin in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Flinders University.

MISSION STATEMENT: 

The Centre for University Teaching aims to influence student learning through the enhancement of University teaching.

Valuing recognising and strengthening teaching and learning within our institution by providing opportunity, research based information communities of practice and high quality support programs for staff to work with their colleagues within and beyond the institution to meet the needs of diverse communities to improve learning.

The unit provides leadership and support for a wide range of programs including induction and orientation, professional and career development, mandatory employment requirements.
