Question Sheets

Each week durng the semester, there will be a question sheet relating to the topic material. Use these to guide your study: they are indicators of the level at which you should understand the material in the topic. Each sheet will have three sets of questions: Revision Questions, Discussion Questions and Problems. While you should consider all questions, only the Problems should be submitted for marking.

Sample answers to all sheets will be available after the due date.

Revision Questions: These questions will be based strictly on the material covered in lectures. If you have understood the material presented, you should find these questions very straight-forward.

Discussion Questions: We will use these questions in workshops (each Monday at 9 AM) and tutorials to seed discussion. Typically, they will involve extensions to the ideas covered in lectures. If you are understanding the material very well, you may think the questions are easy

Problems: You should answer these questions carefully and deposit your answers in the appropriate box outside room 3307 by the due time.
