Links are references to other websites or web pages. They can be links to other pages within the Flinders University website, or the outside world.

Strengths

• Can add much value with external links.

Limitations

• Must be kept up to date.
• Costs money to access external links.
• Students need to know how to use their browser efficiently to get back to the learning space.

Tips for use

• Make link names descriptive.
• Allow students to suggest links.
• ‘More' is probably not ‘better'!
• Check links each couple of weeks to make sure they still exist.
