Trying to get your head around the huge range of technologies and tools that could best fit your teaching and learning intentions can be quite daunting.  Below are three tips for how to begin.

  1. Know your outcomes.
Before you start looking at specific tools, step back and try these resources that help in selecting appropriate tools to match your teaching and learning intentions.
  2. Know what is already available.
Begin by exploring the range of available technologies at Flinders University. These tools are officially supported at the University, training and help is available and many of these tools are integrated with Flinders Learning Online (FLO).
  3. Know what is potentially available.
If you are an experienced technology user, you might also want to explore the suitability of emerging technologies.   These tools are available publically, and not officially supported at Flinders and therefore have limited support.
