Class Cancellation Request

This form is to be used for cancelling a full class, not a week of a class, or if you are moving a class. There are other forms available for those requests. Cancelling a class will result in it being removed from Student 2.

 

A class should only be cancelled after careful consideration of the impact to registered students, and after discussions with relevant staff within your school.

 

There are a number of factors that may need to be considered when cancelling a class, for example:  Lower than expected enrolments. It is normally best to cancel the class with the lowest registrations.

 

If the classes have an even spread, you may wish to contact timetabling.services@flinders.edu.au to discuss the best option.

  • Class Cancellation Request

  • Cancellation Process ( No Streams):

    1. Transfer students to an exisiting class (optional)

    2. Set class to 'cancelled' in Student 2 via the 'Study Package Class Update' window. If students are registered, this will remove them.

    3. Submit form

    4. Timetabling Services delete classes in both S+ and S2


    Cancellation Process ( With Streams):

    1. Transfer students to existing classes (optional)

    2. Set class to 'suspended' in Student 2 via the 'Study Package Class Update' window

    3. Submit form

    4. Timetabling Services will delete the stream. If there are still students registered, the School will be asked to cancel the class.

    5. Timetabling Services delete classes in both S+ and S2
