Educational aims

  • develop the student’s understanding of evidence-based practice in the health professions and the ability to apply this to clinical audiology.

Expected learning outcomes
Following completion of the topic, students will be able to:

  • demonstrate clinical competence in conducting, interpreting and reporting on basic hearing aid fitting, advanced diagnostic assessment and related issues

  • demonstrate independent ability to handle straightforward paediatric and adult clients in routine clinical situations.
