This topic explains the roles and functions of managers; management and leadership styles; organisational structures; theories of organisational behaviour: perception, personality, communication, motivation; the formation and development of groups and teams; handling conflict and change.
Educational aims
This topic aims to introduce students to the core theories of organisational behaviour and management that underpin and influence contemporary Human Resource Management practices.
Expected learning outcomes
