This topic aims to integrate and apply knowledge acquired over the course of a student's degree and apply it to live projects and real business problems. This is in line with the Flinders Enterprise Consulting (FEC) model, where students take the role of consultants on behalf of the university. The key outcome of this course is the provision of evidence-supported business solutions that are actionable to live clients. As such, the topic is highly interactive and is conducted under the guidance of both academics and industry specialists. The nature of the topic includes interactive seminars, group discussions using creative and critical thinking techniques, in addition to collaboration and interaction with business professionals from Australia and around the world.

This topic aims to expose students to real business issues at an advanced level.

On successful completion of this topic students should be able to:

1. Apply business knowledge to international business settings
2. Research an International business issue in depth for a domestic or International organisation
3. Recognise and assess strategic opportunities
4. Execute process required to conduct professional quality industry and market analysis
5. Apply fact-based knowledge to foresee and manage strategic implementation and control issues
6. Understand the dynamics involved in leading change and generating support
7. Understand the range and depth of professional and interpersonal skills required to conduct professional-quality consulting
8. Assess the dynamics of team-building and the effectiveness of teams.
