Prior to enrolling, students are required to attend a Pre-Placement Workshop offered by Flinders Business at various times throughout the year.

1 x 1-hour workshop per semester
1 x 150-hour industry placement per semester
1 x 8-hour on-line exercises per semester

A prior degree in any discipline.

Students should have completed at least half of their degree.

This topic aims to provide a practical orientation to the workplace in preparation for a business career. This orientation takes the form of a placement experience in a business setting.

On completion of the topic students should be able to:

Develop personal goals to enable you to enhance your personal skills and competencies through observation, discussion and practice in a business setting.
Reflect upon your learning from University and apply disciplined based knowledge and skills to a professional workplace.
Communicate effectively and appropriately with peers, industry professionals and supervisors; convey information clearly and fluently in high quality verbal and written forms appropriate for a professional audience.
Demonstrate effective, professional and ethical engagement in a diverse, workplace setting.
