In this topic students are guided through the process of conducting research and writing a research paper in a business-related area. Students will conduct a review and analysis of relevant literature, theory and methods.
Educational aims
The topic aims to develop students' understanding of research methods, conducting a literature review and analysis of theory and methods, and writing a research paper.
Expected learning outcomes
Students successfully completing this topic should be able to:
- prepare a research proposal
- conduct a literature review
- articulate theories relevant to their chosen business area
- produce an academic paper of approximately 12000 words
